I wish I lived in a different era....
one where I could wear fancy dresses on tons of occasions...not just prom and my wedding day. Wear high waisted skirts with a half veil coming across my face A time where their are cocktail parties and tea parties. A time when Marilyn Monroe, Audrey hepburn, and Elvis were in style A time when Madonna was singing "papa don't preach" instead of singing with Justin Timberlake and kissing Britney Spears on stage. A time when movies were in black and white A time where there was burger joints with record players and rock and roll.....I know I still enjoy these things but it is just not the same
Man! That time would've ROCKED! Remember how they used to have high-waisted EVERYTHING? Pants, shorts, skirts... all. It made women look so feminine and beautiful. Now, since Woman's Liberation, we've got to look more like men and it is FUGLY! LOVE the oldies!
ReplyDeleteWait, except for some of the stuff our mothers wore when they were little. WHAT??? It's like a freak fest in some of those pictures! Haha. Although, the Farrah Fawcett hair was actually pretty awesome, I must say.
