Okay I have to ask! What is the big, HUGE hype about Black Swan? I saw it last night and I left with the undecided decision of whether I liked it or not! I admire Natalie Portman as an actor and as a fashion icon and she did an amazing job in this extreme role that she played. And usually I am a HUGE fan of the psychological dark movie but for some reason I didn't leave the theaters with excitement or the urge to sneak back in and watch it again! I felt like I was trapped in someone's messed up head for hours, which I must say, props to them for making me feel like I was the character. But it was a little much for me. I felt like I was all over the place and the sexuality in it was all very unnecessary and this is coming from someone who appreciates a good sex scene but these sex scenes weren't....sexy. Oh and not to mention, Natalie Portman was disgustingly skinny in this movie, it was hard to look at her sometimes. I don't know maybe I need to go see it again and maybe if I saw it with Eric is would make all the difference. We will see! What did you think of it?
p.s. her eye makeup in the dark swan scene was incredible!
